MR1823 Kyabje Kangyur Rinpoche

Kyabje Kangyur Rinpoche (1897-1975), one of the great Tibetan teachers of the twentieth century. He lived in seclusion for many years, before crossing Tibet from east to west, teaching all who asked him. He was a visionary teacher and left many writings. He left Tibet before the Chinese invasion, thus safeguarding a veritable treasure-house of texts, and lived in Darjeeling in India, where his many disciples included a number of westerners. Darjeeling, India. 1967.
