<< For years, the old monks of Shechen monastery in eastern Tibet, came to find me whenever I visited the area, literally in tears, they begged me to ask the abbot of the monastery, Rabjam Rinpoche, to come visit them before they die, which was not easy because of the political situation. In 2010, Rabjam Rinpoche was able to return to Shechen with the young Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche. The joy of those old monks to have their aspirations fulfilled is obvious. >> Matthieu Ricard
