The great Tibetan master Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche (1910–1991) spent several weeks at Taksang, 'the Tiger’s Lair', one of Bhutan’s most sacred sites, in 1980, offering a hundred thousand butter lamps and giving teachings and empowerments. During a ceremony intended to renew the spiritual influence of Taksang, he stood on a balcony overhanging the precipice, wearing brocade robes and the Lotus Crown, looking out over the landscape. Treat yourself with an exhibition quality, fine art photographic print, signed by the hand of Matthieu Ricard, buddhist monk, photographer and author. He has also been the French interpreter of His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama since 1989. Some of the photographs in his collection are printed in limited edition, signed, numbered and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
