In 1985 outside the walls of Shechen Monastery in eastern Tibet, lamas, scholars, and monks shared stories and waited to meet Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche during his first visit in thirty years. They gathered to receive long-awaited teachings and empowerments from him.
