Lighted candles at the Bodnath stupa near Kathmandu, placed there by Nepal’s Tibetan Buddhist community in memory of the victims of the tsunami on 26 December 2004. Although Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world, it donated more than a million dollars to the disaster fund. 2004.
