At the Great Stupa of Bodhnath, the great Tibetan Buddhist master Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche is joined by some of the incarnate lamas who gathered in Nepal in 1977 to receive an extensive cycle of teachings from him. The different ceremonial hats worn by the lamas are characteristic of the traditions to which they belong. Khyentse Rinpoche himself is wearing the 'Lotus Crown,' which resembles the hat worn by Guru Padmasambhava. The gold of the stupa's pinnacle, gleaming brightly in the morning sun, was offered by a wandering Tibetan yogi, Shabkar, in 1821. Buy on-line a fine art photographic print, signed by the hand of Matthieu Ricard, buddhist monk, photographer and author. He has also been the French interpreter of His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama since 1989. Some of the photographs in his collection are printed in limited edition, signed, numbered and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
